On the excursion to Cafayate , you`ll travel through the Lerma Valley until you enter the Las Conchas River Gorge , where wind and water erosion have created some of Salta`s most famous natural formations. During the tour, you`ll see iconic landmarks such as the Devil`s Throat, the Amphitheater, the Castles, and the Toad .
The journey continues to Cafayate , renowned for its high-altitude wines, especially Torrontés . There you will visit a local winery , where you can learn more about the region`s wine production and enjoy a tasting.
The other excursion will take you to Cachi , passing through some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in the province. The route begins in the Lerma Valley and continues through the Escoipe Gorge before ascending the spectacular Bishop`s Slope .
The road reaches its highest point at Piedra del Molino , at 3,457 meters above sea level, before continuing towards Los Cardones National Park and the famous Tin-Tin Straight , an old route related to the Inca Trail.
Finally you will arrive in Cachi , where you can explore its historic center, its traditional colonial church and its archaeological heritage, as well as enjoy the views of the Nevado de Cachi and the landscapes surrounding the town.
At the end of your stay, you will again have a transfer from your hotel to the Airport or the Salta Terminal , completing a proposal that combines nature, culture, gastronomy and the great classics of the Calchaquí Valleys .
