After being picked up at your hotel in downtown Rosario by your private guide, we will start our 3-hour City Tour on board an exclusive vehicle.
First, we will visit the National Monument of the Flag whose architects were Alejandro Bustillo and Angel Francisco Guido and the sculptors were Alfredo Bigatti and Jose Fioravanti. This masterpiece is a sculptural ensemble symbolizing the ship of the Fatherland by sailing the waters of the sea of eternity in search of a glorious destination.
Then, we will continue towards the Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady of Rosario. This minor basilica is dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosario.
After visiting the emblematic cathedral of Rosario, we continue to Plaza 25 de Mayo, whose name alludes to the date of the May Revolution (May 25, 1810), which led to the establishment of the first Argentine local government in Buenos Aires.
Nearby, we will visit the Teatro el Círculo, one of the main opera houses in the city of Rosario that stands out for its acoustic conditions of its main hall and its capacity for 1500 people.
Continuing the tour, we will pass the Paseo del Siglo, a part of the historic center and visit the Stock Exchange Mounument, founded on August 18, 1884, as a non-profit civil association.
Then we will pass by the Bv. Oroño with its famous mansions and buildings from the late nineteenth century, a nice place to walk and appreciate its architecture.
We will visit the Museum of Fine Arts Juan B. Castagnino, a donation to the municipality of Rosario from Mrs. Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino in memory of his last son, Juan Bautista Castagnino, important painter, art critic and collector from Rosario.
Going out, we will go to Parques España, a large area next to the coast line of the Parana canyon, with grass and trees, like pavements for pedestrians.
We will continue through Parque Independencia, the first park in the city, inaugurated on January 1, 1902.
