We will depart from Esquel taking the National Route N ° 259 and then we will connect with the provincial route N ° 17, passing through Trevelin, we will travel a little more than 90 kilometers until we reach the Corcovado River.
Once on the river bank, two expert guides will accompany us and direct the activity , we will receive a talk about safety , basic movements, Raft recognition and teamwork. Corcovado is not an easy river, but with good driving and safety kayaking that will lead the way, any Anyone who knows how to swim will be able to enjoy this experience.
When each participant receives their safety equipment, neoprene suits, life jackets , helmets and oars we will practice the last movements and we will launch into adventure.
The first meters will be quiet, allowing us to enjoy the forest and the environmental purity that surrounds the entire area ; When entering the bends of the river the activity becomes much more exciting, we will immerse ourselves in the canyons that vary in difficulty with Level II and III rapids , the paddling will be intense and the speed of the vertiginous river infecting us with adrenaline and laughter.
If you choose the half day excursion, the schedule of the Activity will be in the afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m., we will travel for two hours 12 kilometers of the crystalline waters of the Corcovado whose flow reaches its highest levels in the summer season due to the thaw in the mountain and the currents are usually more intense due to the winds coming from the south, causing the most exciting rapids.
If you prefer more intensity and choose the full-day option, the activity starts in the morning, from 9am . We will travel a total of 17 kilometers of river, making breaks in the calmest areas to immerse ourselves in the pools of water, let ourselves be carried away by the current and why not, jump from the rocks that surround the river and reach up to 5 meters high, before enjoy a delicious lunch on the banks of the river.
We will close the activity with the change of our clothes and we will return to Esquel in cars charged with good energy. The services will end with the drop off at your hotel.
