We will begin our tour with a pick-up from your downtown hotel starting at 8:30 AM to embark on a visit to the remote Traslasierra Valley. This journey will allow us to explore the majestic High Peaks Road, discover the Pampa de Achala, and enjoy a breathtaking mountain environment.
We will depart from Córdoba via National Route 20 to Falda del Carmen and, after passing through the Las Varillas bypass, we will begin traveling along the High Peaks Road.
During the ascent, we will appreciate its impressive panoramic views and make stops at various points of interest, such as the
Lágrima del Indio waterfall, the
El Cóndor Foundation, the
Pampa de Achala, and the
source of the Mina Clavero River, among other natural viewpoints ideal for taking photographs.
Our first major stop will be in Mina Clavero, a destination renowned for the beauty of its natural surroundings. There we will visit the spa Los Elefantes, explore its shopping center, and discover the main attractions of this mountain town. Around midday, you will have free time for lunch at one of the local restaurants (lunch not included).
Afterward, we will head to Villa Cura Brochero, a traditional town in the valley steeped in history and faith. We`ll pass by the church where the unforgettable Gaucho Priest, an emblematic figure of the region, used to preach.
We`ll continue through Nono, a quiet town surrounded by typical mountain hills like the Ñuños. Here we will visit the renowned Rocsen Multifaceted Museum, where we will spend approximately an hour and a half exploring its fascinating and eclectic collection.
Finally, we will begin our return to the city of Córdoba via the Bosque Alegre road, from where we can appreciate views of the Ground Station and the National Observatory, thus completing a day of almost 11 hours filled with landscapes, history, and mountain culture.
