We will start our tour at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama to the Tatio Geysers, the highest geothermal field in the world, at 4200 meters above sea level. This tour starts so early because during this time there is an impressive activity of the steam fumaroles, allowing us to better appreciate the spectacle.
Here we will enjoy a delicious breakfast while contemplating the view of the steam fumaroles, which can easily reach 10 meters above sea level. After breakfast, we will be able to take a bath in the thermal pool, with an average temperature of 36°C.
On the way back to San Pedro de Atacama we will visit the small town of Machuca, which is made up of only 20 houses, each one with solar panels as a source of energy. Here we will enjoy its gastronomy and walk along its only street, which leads us to its old church.
After the tour of Machuca, we will return to our selected hotels in San Pedro de Atacama.
