The tour begins with the departure from the selected hotels in San Pedro de Atacama, to begin our journey to the Salar de Atacama, the largest in Chile.
There will visit Los Flamencos National Reserve, which is divided into seven sectors located at different heights, each with different climatic conditions, which causes each sector to have different fauna and flora. We will make our first stop at the Chaxa lagoon, where you can recognize the different species of flamingos in the area.
Then the road crosses the Tropic of Capricorn and pass through the town of Socaire, located at 3500 meters above the sea level. the main highlight there is its beautiful church of volcanic stone. Near the village is the sector of Miscanti and Miñique lagoons, located at over 4000 meters above sea level, in a beautiful setting that highlights the beauty of its bluish waters, born from the melting of the volcanoes. Also, there we will find a rich and varied fauna, composed of flamingos, ducks juarjual, rheas, hawks and tucúqueres, among others
Arrive to Toconao, a village with a beautiful church, the church of San Lucas with his little bell, made of adobe and cactus wood. We will visit the workshops and craft fair in the area, rich in alpaca and wool items and handicrafts made of cactus. A cockatail will be served during the tiour
The tour ends with a return to hotels in San Pedro de Atacama.
