Our tour begins with the pick up at the hotels from
at 07:30h and we continue until the
upper city, with buildings from the 16th century such as the churches of São Benedito, Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Pena and Igreja da Misericórdia.
You can also explore the ruins of the first Jesuit college of the
Brazil and the Paço Municipal, whose lower part, formerly a prison,
Today it houses a museum with images and furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries,
while the upper part serves as the mayor`s office.
To finish, we will visit the milestone of possession of the
Brazilian lands brought by Gonçalo Coelho in 1503. After this
enriching historical experience, according to the schedule, we will continue towards the
beach (optional) in Coroa Vermelha (destination according to schedule) to enjoy
of a refreshing bath.
