The tour begins with the departure of the passengers from their hotels in a buggy, and from that moment on we will be able to contemplate the beautiful urban beaches. The first natural landscape that can be appreciated is the encounter of the Potengi River with the sea, just after passing the Newton Navarro Bridge. We will make the first stop at Redinha beach, about twenty kilometers from Ponta Negra. There, we can choose between visiting the Tamar Project or the Natal Aquarium, home to sixty species of animals including moray eels, fish, sea horses, monkeys and alligators. It is also possible to find sharks and even penguins.
We will also stop at the famous dunes of Genipabu, which have already served as the setting for world-wide soap operas such as Cambalacho and Flor do Caribe. The attractions of this place are the view that mixes the lagoon, the dunes and the sea, as well as the optional camel excursions through desert landscapes. The next beach is accessed by a ferry (not included in the tour price). We will cross the Ceará Mirim River to reach the Barra do Rio beach and Graçandu, where we can swim in its calm waters. We will continue to the dunes of Pitangui, which surround the lagoon of the same name, an oasis in the middle of the desert. There we will stop to swim and enjoy.
Then, we will pass by the golden dunes, where scenes from the novels Tieta, El Clon and Camino de las Indias were recorded. In the dunes of Jacumã, we will find another lagoon and the optional games of aero-bunda, sky-bunda and kamikase. It is on the beach of Jacumã where we will also stop for lunch.
We will finish this fun day on the quiet beach of Muriú before returning to the passenger hotels.
