IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ISLAND
1- Ban on plastic: since 2019, the use and sale of disposable plastic, polystyrene and products made with polyethylene, polypropylene and similar products has been prohibited. A warning will be issued to any person or business that does not adhere to the new law the first time. The second is a fine of half the minimum monthly salary awarded (in 2024, the value is R$ 706.00), and the third is a fine of double the previous value.
2 - Preservation Tax - is mandatory, is paid upon arrival at the airport by the island administration, is charged per person/per day, and is not included in the rates. This tax can also be paid through this site: http://www.noronha.pe.gov.br/.
3 - Park Entrance Fee - this tax must be paid to visit the areas within the Fernando de Noronha National Park. The information below may change without notice and must be confirmed upon arrival.
The ticket entitles the visitor to access all public areas of the National Park such as Beaches and Trails: Atalaia, Sancho, Bahía de Golfinho, Mirador de Dois Irmãos, Bahía de Porcos, Faro, Sueste, Fortaleza de São Joaquim, Leão, Capim Açu, Viração, Pontinha Pedra Alta, Abreu, Costa Azul, Costa Esmeralda, Jardim Elizabeth, Ponta das Caracas, Caieira, Cerro São José.
Ticket sales are carried out online (www.parnanoronha.com.br) or in person at Playa Sueste (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Sancho (from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) or at the ICMBio Visitor Center, starting of 8 hours. to 10 pm every day and valid for 10 days.
Programming of attractions is only possible, on the island, after purchasing the ticket, as follows:
> From 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the password for programming will be distributed at the Visitor Center (located in Vila do Boldró);
> From 4:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., talk about the island and the trails in the Tamar Project auditorium (next to the Visitor Center);
> at 16:30, opening for programming following the order of the password distributed;
*Trails can be scheduled up to 6 days in advance;
> Important! It is not possible to change or cancel the schedule.
