The Cerro Bayo trekking tour begins with an optional transfer from your hotel in Mendoza City to the base of operations in Potrerillos.
Cerro Bayo, located in the Andes foothills in the province of Neuquén, Argentina, rises 1,750 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and the Potrerillos Dam. The area is known for its rich flora and fauna, as well as its stunning natural landscapes.
Upon arrival at the base, you will be greeted by a professional bilingual guide who will provide you with a brief safety briefing and recommendations for the trek. Here you will also receive mineral water and a cereal bar to keep you hydrated and energized during the hike.
The tour begins with a moderate to difficult hike, suitable for people aged 12 and up. Along the way, your guide will share information about the geography, climate, hydrology, and local flora and fauna. You will also hear stories and anecdotes about the area, enriching your experience.
