Depending on the option selected, we will pick you up from your hotel in the morning or afternoon and aboard a movitrack 4x4 vehicle we will head towards a b>protected reserve located just 5 kilometers from the center of the City of Iguazú.
In the Reserve, we can enjoy the Missionera Jungle admiring some of its 2,000 pristine plant species, the possibility of sighting the rich birdlife of the region, more than 400 species of birds, highlighting toucans, trogons, cattle, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, magpies b> and others; The abundant native fauna and the varied ichthyofauna of the Iguazú and Paraná Rivers offer phenomena such as natural museums, flora sanctums, where legendary palm trees, giant ferns and bamboo canes have reached the heights of the most important trees of the interior Atlantic forest.
The enviable and natural topography of the land makes the place an ecological luxury , where nature has designed a paradisiacal site, where we will go for a half-day adventure.
The first activity will be an interpretive trekking of the native Paranaense flora of approximately 2 km.
This walk will take us along narrow paths, carpeted with leaf litter, herbaceous ferns, philodendrons, vines, air carnations, lichens and mosses. During the walk, we will have the opportunity to observe the diversity of local species, colorful inflorescences, accompanied by the permanent chirping of birds.
At the end of the trek,
we will reach the middle jump (12 meters high), we will carry out the
canopy/zipline activity where we will feel like half a bird, half a man as we move between the crowns of the most important trees in the jungle./div>
The activity consists of sliding from one tree to another, hanging from a harness to the two-pronged steel ropes, strategically attached with biocompatible elements to the trees without damaging their bark and as the only link, the wooden platforms attached to the thick and old trees. The total route is 200 meters.
From the heights, appreciate the jungle biome.
Finally, on the way down towards the Paraná ravine, we will practice tree climbing, moving over hanging bridges built between the trees in a way that does not cause disturbances in nature.
After a unique experience full of discoveries and surprises of nature, we will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
