A professional guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the most spectacular places in the city in a private car.
This three-hour excursion will show you Montevideo's most important and touristic points, as well as the most characteristic places of the city.
We will visit the Independence Square where you will find the Gate of the Citadel, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Estévez Palace, the Salvo Palace and the monument to the Uruguayan hero José Gervasio Artigas.
We will walk along part of the main avenue (18 de Julio), and then head towards the Legislative Palace (Parliament). We will visit the Agricultural Market of Montevideo that works inside a historical building and offers a great variety of autochtones products.
José Batlle y Ordoñez Park will be the next stop of the tour, from where we will see the Centennial Stadium and the Monument to the Carreta; to continue then towards Montevideo's Rambla.
Passing through the city, we will arrive at the United Nations promenade, from where we will begin the way back to the city center passing by Punta Gorda and stopping at Virgilio Square, where we will obtain one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the coast.
At the end of the tour we will return to the hotel.
