Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
When you arrive at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free, to enjoy as you wish.
Day 2: Visit the city
The tour begins with the pick up at your hotel to visit the Corcovado hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located 710 meters high. It is one of the most visited places in the city, and it is also an ecological tour, since Cerro Corcovado is located within the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.
From the top of the hill, we can see the Laguna Rodrigo de Freitas, in the north of the city and several beaches. After contemplating the wonderful panoramic view of the city, we will proceed to the legendary Maracanã Stadium, where we will stop so you can visit the Maracanã Museum (optional). Then we will go to the famous Avenida do Carnaval, Sambódromo, with access to the Samba Museum and entrance to Apoteose Square.
After After lunch in a traditional Steakhouse, we will visit the Sugar Loaf, located 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The ascent is made by a glass cable car to the top of the mountain, from where you can enjoy a wonderful 360° view of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings. Before finishing the tour, we will pass through the Historic Center of the city with stops at the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Selaron Steps and passing through the famous Arcos de the limpet. After a day of fun, we will return to the hotel.
Day 3: Free day
Free day to explore Rio de Janeiro. We suggest an optional jeep ride through the tropical forest and the Tijuca botanical garden.
Day 4: Transfer to Buzios
We will pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro to transfer you to the neighboring city of Búzios, located 175 km away, which will take us about 3 hours.
Once in Búzios, we will take you to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.
Day 5: Boat trip in Arraial do Cabo
Departure from the hotels in Búzios to the cities of Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo, which are 25 and 38 km from Búzios, respectively.
In Arraial do Cabo we will take a ride on boat to the main tourist attractions: Praia del Forno, Ponta do Atalaia, Pedra da Tartaruga, Boqueirão, Gruta Azul, Gruta da Nossa Senhora da Conceição and Ilha do Farol. The boat will serve mineral water and soft drinks. If the weather conditions allow it, we will go to the famous Blue Grotto, to visit the Pedra do Mono.
This trip lasts 3 hours and has two stops (one hour each) at different beaches. Where it is possible to swim in the most crystalline waters of Brazil. That is why Arraial is known as the Brazilian Caribbean.
We return to the pier, and shortly after to the city of Cabo Frio. Here we will have free time to enjoy a buffet lunch (drinks and desserts not included). Then we will visit the historic center, the Praia do Forte and the Forte de São Mateus.
We will return to our hotels in Búzios around 6:30 pm.
Day 6: Free day
Free day to explore Buzios. We suggest an optional trolleybus tour of the main beaches of Buzios.
Day 7: Departure from Buzios
We will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Rio de Janeiro airport to board your departure flight.
