Day 2: Circuito Chico (City Tour) & Victoria Island & Arrayanes Forest navigation
Bariloche
After picking you up at your hotel in downtown Bariloche, we will go towards Playa Bonita, 8 km from the city, from where you can see Huemul Island.
Continuing 10 kilometres, we will arrive at Cerro Campanario that has a chairlift to reach 1050 meters high and, from the summit, observe the immensity of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, the El Trébol lagoon, the San Pedro peninsulas and Llao Llao, Victoria Island, Otto, López, Goye, Cathedral and Bariloche city.
The tour continues to the imposing Llao Llao Hotel and the beautiful San Eduardo Chapel, architectural jewels of the region. Further on, you can see the golf courses, the Angostura bridge over the river of the same name that joins the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes and then Bahía López, at the foot of the eponymous hill. Leaving the bay behind, a Panoramic Point emerges: a natural balcony from which you can see Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao peninsula.
The circuit ends in Puerto Pañuelo, from where we will embark on a catamaran for our next adventure.
After an hour of navigation, you will arrive at the Quetrihue peninsula, the seat of the Arrayanes Forest, located in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The Arrayan (Quetrihue in the Mapuche language) is an exquisite saffron-colored shrub with white flowers. This tree, unique in the world for its size, density and development, forms an unusual forest.
We will walk along the paths that reach Playa del Toro, to discover there the cave paintings made by native peoples who live in this area, within the framework of a splendid beach of volcanic sand.
Then you sail to Puerto Anchorena, disembarking on Isla Victoria. Walking through pine forests, coihues and birch, our guides will tell us about the stories and legends that the place keeps. A reserve of native (Pudu pudu) and exotic animals (red deer and golden pheasants), a park ranger school and a warm inn give life to the island.
Finally, as the twilight begins to fall over the Andes mountain range, you return to the port, from where we will take you back to your hotel.
Day 3: Tronador Hill Tour
Bariloche
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Bariloche and head towards Gutiérrez and Mascardi lakes. We will continue with the trip and we will arrive at the end of the trail, through a forest of beech and coihues, from where we will appreciate the spectacular views of the Manso Glacier, also known as the Black Glacier.
We will go back down to the foot of Cerro Tronador and from there, you will have the opportunity to see the three famous peaks: Argentina, 3410 m; Internacional, 3554 m and Chile, 3474 m.
We will follow the main road and pass again by the Manso River Bridge to go see the Larches Falls.
Bordering the Gnats Lake and the Manso river to reach the Hess lake, we will cross the Rock river, where the path ends, there, we will get off the vehicle and continue walking for about 300 m until we reach a viewpoint over the impressive waterfall.
