We will pick you up from your accommodation in Antofagasta de la Sierra around 8:00 a.m.
On this panoramic tour, we will make a few stops at tourist attractions to take photos and learn a little more about the history and culture of Catamarca.
Our first stop is at Campo los Tobas, where you will find petroglyphs carved into the volcanic rock that are approximately 1,500 years old.
Another stop will be at the Miriguaca Lookout, where you can see the 70-meter-high lava walls of the Galán volcano. Further on we will come across Real Grande, a place where the local flora and fauna exist. We will meet goldfinches, the "golden dove" and other native birds, and we will pass through its narrow alley.
Finally, we visit the Galán Volcano where we pass by different tourist spots, such as the hydrothermal fumaroles, the Diamond Lagoon, the Pabellón Lagoon, the Los Peñones, and the Grande Lagoon.
From there, we begin the return along the south side of the Caldera.
Finally, we begin the return along the rock to reach the town of Antofagasta.
