Villa Union is located in the west side of the province of La Rioja, in a fertile valley crossed by the Desaguadero River. This population center is at an altitude of 1225 meters above sea level.
Within the town of Villa Union we can find various tourist attractions, such as Laguna Brava, Corona del Inca, Quebrada de la Troya, Vinchina and its "Diaguita Ritual Center", Cerro Toro, labyrinths of Anchumbil (where we can find petroglyphs and cave paintings), the Miranda slope, Quebrada de Las Trancas with its pools and waterfalls, Aicuña and Guandacol.
