Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz is the capital of the province of Santa Fe and the eighth largest city of Argentina. It is located in the central-eastern region, on the shores of the lagoon Setúbal, the Santa Fe River and the Salado River.
This region receives a marked climatic influence of the Parana River. In summer it dominates a mass of warm and humid with persistent winds from the northern hot tropical air, while in winter a mass of polar air produced by cooling and freezing plaguing the region.
