The province of Mendoza is the most important wine region in Argentina , representing more 75% of the country`s total production. Natural conditions such as altitude (from 500 to 1700 meters above sea level) aridity and stony soils and a marked thermal amplitude between day and night, are the ideal framework for vine growing .
In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the two wineries, located in the Luján de Cuyo and Maipú region , 20 km from the city. Along the way, your experienced guide will explain the origin of the wine industry in Mendoza.
These traditional wineries opened the way to viticulture, still today they retain the same family tradition and they will tell us the history of winemaking in Mendoza . While we will taste different wine strains and learn about the differences between them.
After about 5 hours , we will return to your hotel.
