Mendoza province is the most important wine region in Argentina, representing over 75% of the country's total production. Natural conditions such as altitude (from 500 to 1700 meter above sea level), aridity and stony soils, and a marked thermal amplitude between day and night, are the ideal framework for the cultivation of vines.
In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and will take you to 2 wineries located in Lujan de Cuyo and Maipú area, 20 km away from the city. On the way, your experienced guide will explain the origin of the wine industry in Mendoza.
These traditional wineries opened the way to winemaking, still today they keep the same family tradition and will tell us the history of winemaking in Mendoza. While we will taste different wine varieties and learn about the differences between them.
After approximately 5 hours, we will return to the hotel.
