The province of Mendoza is the most important wine region in Argentina, representing more than 75% of the country's total production. The natural conditions such as altitude (from 500 to 1700 meters above sea level), aridity and stony soils and a marked thermal amplitude between day and night, are the ideal framework for growing grapes.
In the morning, a private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the two wineries, located in the region of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu, 20 km from the city. On the way, your experienced guide will explain the origin of the wine industry in Mendoza.
These traditional wineries opened the way to viticulture, still today they preserve the same family traditions and will tell us the history of winemaking in Mendoza. In the meantime, we will taste different varieties of wines and learn about the differences between them.
After approximately 5 hours, we will return to your hotel.
This is the visit not to be missed by those who arrive in Mendoza to learn about wines and vineyards.
