We begin the tour with the pick up from centrally located hotels of Mar del Plata, to travel to Tandil, distant 170 kilometers, which will take us about 2 hours of travel.
We will visit Monte Calvario, where we will climb a stone staircase with 195 steps leading to the imposing cross that crowns the hill: a figure of Christ crucified made in French marble. We continue to the Via Crucis, which recreates all the stations of the Via Crucis in stone sculptures on a hillside. Finally, the chapel of Santa Gemma, located on a slope of the hill Calvario and built in devotion to Santa Gemma Galgani.
At noon we will go to Cerro Centinela, where we will have lunch while enjoying a panoramic view of the valley and the city. Afterwards, we cross the dam and Lake Del Fuerte, with an ascent to visit the viewpoint of the Fortin Independencia.
Finally, we visit the commercial center of the city and visit the post "Epoca de Quesos", declared a historical monument, where we can taste the best products of the region.
