* DAY 1: Puerto Iguazú to Yacutinga Lodge.
Around 2:30 p.m. we will depart from Puerto Iguazú to Yacutinga Lodge. During the tour we will notice the subsistence farming and livestock system that predominates in the Northeast of the Misiones Province.
The landscape is extremely picturesque, As we enter the jungle we will make our way to a transformative experience where different cultures and traditions meet, respect for the local population and the diversity of the ecosystem makes the ecotourism experience unique and enriching .
We will cross reddish and clay paths, Chacras de Yerba Mate and when evening falls, we will be arriving at the Lodge where they await us with a refreshing drink and an introductory activity on the environmental problems of the Selva Misionera and the actions that are being developed in the reserve to achieve its conservation.
After the talk, we will enjoy a delicious dinner set by the singing of some birds such as El Macuco, El Tataup a boy, the Long-eared Heron and/or the Creole Duck.
* DAY 2: Yacutinga Private Reserve.
Early in the morning and after breakfast, we will make the interpretive walk in the company of expert naturalist guides. We will enter the Yacutinga Private Reserve and as we advance along the wooden paths that in the depths of the jungle are transformed into humid and fertile dirt roads, we will receive information about the different natural environments and ecosystems that coexist within the reserve, we will know the main data of the autochthonous flora, its medicinal uses and its conservation and we will see some birds such as Urúes, several pigeons, from the very common Yerutí to the rarest Purplish Montera Paloma; Parrots that with their striking colors and their vocalizations stand out in this jungle environment, and different Toucans such as the Banana Toucan, the Small Arasarí and the Fajado Arasarí.
In the middle of the day we return to the Lodge to have lunch and enjoy the rest in the pool, the observation towers, the fire pit or the bar.
In the afternoon, around 4:00 p.m. we will start the second activity of the day: Kayaking through the calm waters of the Reserve. We will receive basic instructions for navigation and we will enjoy the observation of fauna from the kayaks, it will be the ideal moment for the photo-safari. This activity lasts almost 3 hours.
We will return to the Lodge to refresh ourselves, have dinner and close the night with the light of the stars .
Those more adventurous will be able to join the night walk through the Jungle. Assisted by the team of guides and power lights, the nocturnal fauna, owls, owls and caprimurfids that are active at night will be discovered.
DAY 3: Yerba Mate plantation and Cominidad Guaraní Kagui Pora 2.
After activating with a good breakfast, we will start the tour of the Yerba Mate plantation Ilex paraguariensis , the main agricultural product from Colonia Andresito, we will learn about the production process and understand the use that man has given to this emblematic species of the Missionary Forest, by domesticating it and transforming it into a ritual ual cultural.
We will return to the Lodge at noon to have lunch and relax a bit.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Guaraní Community neighboring Yacutinga Lodge. The purpose of this activity is to participate and interact with the native community Kagui Pora 2 , understand their social reality and try to develop this eco-tourism activity with the greatest possible respect, always offering our help and tolerance.
We will return to the Lodge loaded with stories and ancestral knowledge to have dinner and rest.
DAY 4: Morning in Yacutinga and return to Puerto Iguazu.
We will have breakfast and enjoy the common areas of the Lodge.
Around 09:00 am we will be able to join the activity of Res class of native orchids. We will rescue and relocate the arboreal orchids fallen to the ground, we will learn about the ecology of the jungle and we will provide a small contribution with the restitution of environmental balance.
In the middle of the morning we will return to Puerto Iguazú, arriving at approximately 1:00 p.m.
