We will begin our departure from your centrally located hotel in El Calafate at approximately 08:30 am, to take route 11. A few kilometers away, we will join the representative Route 40 where we can appreciate the view of Lake Argentino from a viewpoint.
After an hour`s drive, we will arrive at the La Leona tourist parador. There, we will enjoy a breakfast with coffee and typical artisan products.
In the stable, the specialized guides will provide leggings and helmets, if you wish; and we will go to the Yatén Refuge, located at the tip of Lake Viedma and the source of the La Leona River.
At 11:00 am we will start the parade. During the journey you will be able to contemplate beautiful landscapes such as Mount Fitz Roy, the Viedma Glacier and Cerro Torre. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by guides who will provide you with various reviews of the native flora and fauna.
At 12:30 pm you will arrive at the Yatén Refuge. After a short walk in the surroundings, you can enjoy a good glass of wine, while the guide prepares a Patagonian-style lunch.
After approximately two hours, we start the return to the ranch along the coast of Lake Viedma, a strategic point where the view of Cerro Fitz Roy will accompany us.
At the end, there will be a walk through the estancia and before returning, a snack will be enjoyed to relax and prepare for the return.
At 5:00 pm we will return and after an hour of travel, you will return to your centrally located hotel in El Calafate.
