7:30-8:30pm: We’ll get your evening started by picking you up from your hotel in our comfy minibus. We’ll pass Recoleta, Microcentro, Palermo and Puerto Madero as we head over to the historic barrio of San Telmo: the birthplace of tango.
9pm: Upon sitting down for dinner, you’ll be presented with a variety of Argentine and international dishes to choose from. You and your group will have your own table to give you a bit of intimacy in which to enjoy this three-course meal and, of course, some wine (optional).
From beef and chicken to pasta and salad, you’ll be able to try some of Argentina’s most famous delicacies. A section of the menu is listed below:
Baked local empanadas
Lentil and meat stew
Soup of the day
Pasta & risotto
Pamplona de Ave
Traditional Bife de Chorizo
Traditional shepherd’s pie
Patagonian lamb and mushroom casserole
Pork with a chimichurri crust
10:15pm: After dinner, the show begins! You’ll hear some classic tango pieces from the string quartet and see incredible precision and passion among the four onstage dancing couples.
Two singers will tell you about the history of tango and of Buenos Aires itself, as well as singing some beautiful pieces.
11:30pm: Our evening will come to a close as we drop you back at your hotel for around midnight.
If you choose our Dinner and Show Without Transfer option you can come directly to El Querandí at 8:30pm, and 10:15pm if you choose our Tango Show Without Dinner.
