With
a popular appeal and a tradition in tango, the legendary Luna Park
stadium hosts the decisive rounds of the Dance World Cup competition:
the grand finals of the Dance-Floor Tango & Stage Tango
categories. Every edition draws large crowds, eager to see the best
dancers as they are crowned champions among hundreds of couples from
Buenos Aires and other cities of the world. The excitement and the
adrenaline of this true battle of talents rise every year. In
addition to the unique spectacle of competition, there will be a
special performance featuring guest artists on each evening.

this year’s Festival, centered on new repertoires among other
themes, Eladia Blázquezserves as a truly inspirational figure, for
the forward-thinking dedication and boldness that marked her work and
continues to set the pace. The voice selected to pay tribute to her
is that of Sandra Mihanovich, an amazingly versatile singer who
covers the spectrum of popular genres from bossa nova to tango and
from bolero to rock. She is one of the most sensitive and renowned
voices to render Eladia’s songs.
