Our Diego Maradona trip gives you a complete tour of all the most influential places in the footballer’s personal and professional lives, and the chance to learn about one of the most important figures in the footballing world.
Our Diego Maradona Tour begins outside our offices in San Telmo, and is made up of three different parts.
Firstly, we’ll visit some of the places which were most important in Maradona’s early life, our guides taking us to the Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento where he married his first wife.
Next, we’ll have a walk around the Argentinos Juniors stadium, where the footballer played professionally for the first time, and go into the club Museo to see the numerous trophies and awards.
Finally, you’ll get to see La Bombonera, the Boca Juniors stadium. Here you can have a look at:
The best seats
The local kit
Diego Maradona’s private box
Our guides will then take you over to the Museo de la Pasión Boquense, where you can explore over 100 years of club history, the players’ backgrounds and the evolution of the famous shirt. You’ll also be able to visit the trophy room and see a film which shows firsthand how it feels to be part of the team and run out onto the pitch in the kit.
Maradona Day Tour with Pablo 21/08/2017Our tour with Pablo of both Boca and Argentina Junior stadium was excellent - we met at the Tangol office, got on a mini-bus and drove to the Boca stadium. We were family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. Pablo took us into the Boca Stadium, with time to tour around, take pictures of this very elaborate stadium - we were also part of the tour (done in Spanish, but Pablo translated) - tour took us to many parts of the stadium, sit in the fan seats, the standing zone and all the while providing an immense about of history of the soccer club, Maradona himself and the Buenos Aires adoption of the famous sport of football. Pablo gave us time after the tour to have some authentic bbq lunch just outside the Boca stadium, it allowed us time to shop around, tour and take pictures of the very colorful and decorated buildings in the surrounding area of the stadium. After lunch we went over to the Argentina Juniors stadium, were we got a tour of the stadium, walk the field, sit in the seats of where both Messi an Maradona sat and see the on-site Maradona Museum - my boys were in heaven, could not believe they were there! Pablo amazing, patient and shared information about Buenos Aires that helped our family understand lifestyle, traditions, currency and government - it gave our son's the chance to ask the questions and learn from a local - Pablo - huge thank you for your patience and teaching us all you know about Buenos Aires!! We had a great day, amazing end to our trip.Reviewed by Jeff MARADONA!!! 14/07/2016We loved taking the tour of DIEGO MARADONA!!!
