Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi is a football stadium in La Plata, Argentina. It is the home field of Estudiantes de La Plata. The stadium, named after Jorge Luis Hirschi, who served as Estudiantes` president between 1927 and 1932, is located on 1st Avenue between 55th and 57th Streets, and thus is also known as 1 y 57. It was formally inaugurated on 25 December 1907.

Estudiantes: We had a great experience in Boca Juniors home game last Sunday. A friend told us to go with Tangol Travel Agency and it was awesome! The guide was very good, and the location in the stadium was not the best but it was OK: one of the best things we did in Argentina.

Estudiantes: We had a brilliant experience with Tangol! Everything was really smooth and easy, to the point where I felt like a local fan. The game at La Bombonera was intense! If I was back in Buenos Aires, I would definitely use Tangol to get my tickets again to watch some of the other great teams San Lorenzo, Racing or Independiente. So much football!! Fantastic agency with a guarantee of providing a unique footballing experience.

Great experience in BOCA JUNIORS

Estudiantes: We had a great experience in the futbol match between Boca Juniors and Quilmes. Pick up on time. Good driver and excelent guide (Andy). The game was just awesome: very good atmosphere, crazy supporters. After the game they drop us off back to or hotel. We had a great time: special thanks to Tangol !!!

Football game (Boca Juniors)

Estudiantes: I went to see Boca Juniors game at La Bombonera (Boca Juniors stadium). The tickets were not cheap...but in my opinion well worth the money! Argentines love football and the atmosphere was really crazy! Tangol organised everything inlcuding pick up and drop off. The guides were local fans, and did a great job. No hassle at all. worth the extra cost of going through a tour company rather tahn trying to sort out yourself. Highly recommended!!!

Friendly, Fun & Fiery Football!!

Estudiantes: I am an incredibly well traveled person who generally does everything on her own....but after several bad attempts at going to a football in Argentina I decided to put myself in the hands of a tour agency to help me follow my team (URUGUAY!) during the Copa America 2011. I chose Tangol because they speak english but are all passionate locals (which is the way I like to travel), and they delivered all I could've ever dreamed of and more - including seats so close to the field I could almost reach out to touch the players!! They took me to the Uruguay-Mexico game in La Plata - with an excellent guide who got everyone pumped-up for the game on the way there, swiftly brought us to some unbelievable seating location and drove us back safely to the door of our hotel at the end of the night. I was so pleased with the service I went to the next game Uruguay-Argentina in Santa Fe and took care of everything. At this point they were my good luck charm, and just had to go to the final with them where we played against Paraguay in the River Plate Stadium! It was absolute chaos all around the stadium and was SO impressed by how they knew exactly how to avoid getting lost in the madness (they clearly have been doing this for so long they had special contacts helping us get through the back door!). Surely enough...WE WON THE COPA AMERICA!!! Despite being Argentines, TANGOL CELEBRATED WITH ME LIKE IT WAS THEIR OWN TEAM AND MADE ME HAVE THE TIME OF MY LIFE!! Can't wait for the next Copa America and look forward to using them again :)
