Cotopaxi-Blick und viel Wärme fürs Geld
Für unsere Jubiläumsreise mit meiner Teenie-Tochter war die Chilcabamba Lodge ein echter Glücksgriff. Das Standardzimmer war schlicht, aber sauber und erstaunlich gemütlich; vom Fenster sahen wir morgens den Cotopaxi rosig über den Gräsern stehen. Sogar die kleine Bank vor dem Zimmer wurde zum Lieblingsplatz für unseren Kakao. Für die Lage im Nationalpark und diese Aussicht fanden wir den Preis absolut fair – deutlich mehr Atmosphäre als ein teureres, gewöhnliches Hotel. Abends knisterte der Ofen, während draußen der Wind pfiff. Nicht luxuriös, aber warmherzig, ruhig und jeden Cent wert.
Un séjour paisible et efficace face au Cotopaxi
Après une année de travail intense, je me suis offert quelques jours au Chilcabamba Lodge, et quel bonheur de ralentir près du Cotopaxi. Le check-in a pris à peine cinq minutes : fiche déjà prête, clé remise avec un thé de bienvenue. Au départ, même efficacité, facture réglée en deux minutes. Ma chambre standard était simple mais chaleureuse, avec une bouillotte et vue sur les herbes d’altitude. Pour le prix, les repas copieux et l’accueil attentif offrent un excellent équilibre. Je repars reposé et reconnaissant.
