After a day exploring Barcelona, we loved returning to Hostal Cal Siles. The pool was small but peaceful, with sunny loungers and a shaded patio where we played cards over cold drinks. Our room overlooked the courtyard and distant hills; at sunset, the view caught orange light on the rooftops. We loved our anniversary stay at Livinn House Self Checkin. Although the arrival was easy and independent, the staff were wonderfully warm, answering our messages quickly and recommending a nearby tapas spot. The pool was a lovely surprise after sightseeing, with comfortable loungers and a shaded corner. We also enjoyed the quiet shared lounge and its little honesty coffee station.

After a busy Barcelona work trip turned anniversary getaway, Hostal Carlos III was a lovely surprise. The price-to-quality balance is hard to beat: our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The mattress felt genuinely restful, and I loved the small detail of fresh lemon-scented towels and a quiet mini-fridge. It’s on Enric Borra S 50, but still felt peaceful at night. We’d happily stay again!
