DAY 1
** HIGH WATER SEASON - FROM DECEMBER TO MAY **
AM: We will start this journey picking you up at the airport of Iquitos, and then, enjoy the first lunch together in a 5-star hotel. Later, we will board the Zafiro cruise from the
main port of the city. On the cruise, we will taste a delicious welcome drink, while we appreciate spectacular panoramic views of the
jungle.
PM: The guides will give us a brief of the trip, and then we will have the first dinner on board.

LOW WATER SEASON - FROM JUNE TO NOVEMBER **
AM: This adventure starts in the airport of Iquitos, and then, we are going to enjoy the first lunch together in a 5-star hotel. Later, we will go to the city of Nauta to board
the Zafiro cruiser. We will enjoy a delicious Peruvian welcome drink,
and admire the beauty of the jungle with panoramic views.
PM: The guides will give us a brief about the trip, and then, we will have the first dinner on board.
DAY 2
** HIGH WATER SEASON - FROM DECEMBER TO MAY **
AM: Before breakfast, we will go out to
explore the fauna and flora in the Amazon River. Breakfast on board, and in the next expedition, we will see pink and gray dolphins.
PM: Lunch on the cruise. The afternoon tour begins towards Puerto Prado. We will walk to search for the largest aquatic plant in the world, known as Victoria Regia. Upon returning to the ship,
we are going to enjoy dinner, while we listen live music. At night, the nocturnal tour will amaze you, searching for tarantulas and alligators.
** LOW WATER SEASON - FROM JUNE TO NOVEMBER **
AM: We will get on the boat before the
breakfast, to go out to look for unique fauna and flora in the Amazon River. After breakfast, we will see the union of the Ucayali and Marañón rivers, where we will find
pink and gray dolphins. We will hike to Puerto Prado, to observe
the largest plant in the world. You can purchase some handmade pieces from the local artisan market, made by the community.
PM: After lunch, we`ll start
an expedition to the jungle of mirrors in Caño Nauta. This place is perfect
to spot birds such as toucans, macaws and parrots. The tour continues with a
night visit, in search of animals such as frogs and tarantulas. Once on the cruise, enjoy a delicious dinner.
DAY 3
** HIGH WATER SEASON - FROM TO DECEMBER TO MAY **
AM: We will take the boat to go to
the Japan Lagoon, one of the best preserved areas in the entire reserve.
We will enjoy a picnic breakfast, and we will be able to see pink dolphins. We will explore the Yanaquillo stream. Back on the boat, you have the opportunity to practice
kayak, and swim in the river.
PM: We will enjoy lunch and have some time to rest. Later, we are going to explore the hanging bridges
with a beautiful walk in the middle of the jungle. Back on the cruise, the bartender will give us
a demonstration of how to prepare a Peruvian cocktail. We will listen to live music, and have dinner with the captain of the ship.
** LOW WATER SEASON - FROM JUNE TO NOVEMBER **
AM: After breakfast, this day starts with the excursion to the Yanayacu river in Pucate to practice piranha fishing.
We will return to the ship, and have lunch.
PM: This afternoon, we will explore the bridges
hanging in the middle of the jungle, enjoying a beautiful hike. We will return to Zafiro, and relax listening to live music and having dinner with the captain
of the ship.
DAY 4
** HIGH WATER SEASON - FROM DECEMBER TO MAY **
AM: We will have breakfast on board, and the first tour of this day starts visiting the indigenous community of San Regis. We will meet the local people, and the shaman will teach us the ancestral customs. Live a unique experience in a lovely ceremony planting a tree, and we will visit the artisan market.
Return to the boat and lunch.
PM: We will go towards the stream
Shiriyacu by boat. We will have a fun time fishing piranhas with handcrafted equipment. Enjoy the amazing sunset from the cruise. There, you can relax listening live music and have dinner on board.
** LOW WATER SEASON - FROM JUNE TO
NOVEMBER **
AM: On this day, we are going to explore the Samiria river with
a fun picnic, practicing kayak and swimming in the river. Upon returning to the boat, the bartender will show us how to prepare a Peruvian cocktail.
We will have lunch and time to rest. The guides will delight us
with legends of the jungle.
PM: We will visit the native community of San Regis, to get in touch with the locals, and meet the
shaman of the area. We will live a nice experience planting a tree. Back to the Zafiro cruise, we will listen to live music, and have dinner.
DAY 5
Very early, before breakfast, we will explore the city of Nauta by tuk tuk, until we reach the local market. Then, we will go to the Sapi Sapi lagoon, a place that is home to wildlife
such as paiches, turtles, butterflies and different birds.
We will return to the cruise to enjoy a
well deserved breakfast, to then proceed to disembark. On the way to the airport, we are going to visit the Amazon Rescue Center (CREA).
