Details of Day Tours

The Andean Crossing is a mythical route through the Patagonian Andean lakes that connects Argentina and Chile. The Huiliche and Mapuche natives traveled along this path for more than four centuries, leaving their mark on the legends of the area, and on the history that comes to life throughout this journey. The Andean Crossing gives us the opportunity to relive a once-in-a-lifetime moment, surrounded by impressive landscapes.

We will leave from the city of Puerto Varas in a comfortable bus passing through Lake Llanquihue. From here, we can visit the Petrohué Falls (entrance is not included, and can only be visited during certain periods of the year).

In Petrohué, a boat will take us from Lake Todos Los Santos to Peulla. This ecological city is undoubtedly a place where nature and magic come together. Here we can see its ancient forest and do different outdoor activities. We will have time for lunch (not included). Then, a4x4 bus built especially for the mountains will take us to the highest point of the entire trip to cross the border with Argentina.

After completing all the immigration and customs formalities, we will board a boat and sail along Lake Frías for about 25 minutes, from Puerto Frías to Puerto Alegre. From here a bus will take us through the forest for approximately 15 minutes until we reach Puerto Blest.

Here depending on the option selected, we will have free time until we carry out our navigation by Lake Nahuel Huapi, or we will stay the night in Puerto Blest. The next day we will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and we will have the morning free to go on a self-guided trek to the Los Cántaros waterfall.

We will have time to tour the Blest Bay and the < b>Frías River, with its green waters that descend from the pure glaciers of theCerro Tronador. Leaving Puerto Blest, we will navigate for an hour along the most important arm of the Nahuel Huapi lake.

During the navigation you will be able to see the most beautiful landscapes, such as the white waterfalls and the Islote Sentinel. We will arrive at Puerto Pañuelo, on the Llao Llao Peninsula, where a bus will be waiting for us to take us to the center of Bariloche.
