Today we will have a
exciting and complete rafting adventure
in the majestic Petrohué River, a
unique experience that combines adrenaline, nature and impressive landscapes.
This experience, ideal for adventurers and
families, will take you to explore one of the most spectacular rivers in
Chile, surrounded by the imposing Osorno, Puntiagudo, Calbuco and Yates volcanoes.
Your day starts with
the convenience of being picked up directly at the door of your hotel in Puerto
Varas for our van. During the journey of approximately 35 minutes,
you will enjoy panoramic views of the Lake
Llanquihue, with multiple opportunities to take memorable photos.
Upon arrival at our base in Ensenada, you will be greeted by our
team of expert guides, certified in
first aid in remote areas and rescue techniques in turbulent waters.
After a detailed safety talk,
You will receive all the necessary equipment:
approved neoprene suit, jacket, footwear, life jackets and helmets.
It is advisable wear a swimsuit, socks and a
t-shirt (avoid cotton on cold days) and don`t forget a towel for after
rafting. Anything you can lose is safer in the van, where our
driver will take care of your valuables.
A short drive
10 minutes in the van takes us to the point of
start of Rafting. Before launching into the adventure, we will practice the
paddling techniques. Then, the descent of11 begins
km full of class III+ and IV rapids, with exciting names like “Ciao Seco”, “La Ese”, “Los Pollos” , “Swiss Cheese” and
“The Swimmer”. During the tour, we will stop at some places
to enjoy the river in different ways: swimming, jumping from cliffs and
letting ourselves be carried away by areas of gentle rapids.
At the end of the
descent, we reach our point of
disembarkationwhere you can change clothes in the dressing rooms on the shore
from the river. Back at the base, you will enjoy a
delicious snackwhile you see the photos of your adventure captured by
our photographer.
Additional Options: Once the
rafting, you can choose to return to Puerto Varas or continue with other
exciting activities in the region, such as river kayaking lessons,
mountain bike training at the Ensenada pumptrack, or the preparation
for a sea kayak expedition.

for children, including suits, life jackets, boots and helmets approved in the USA.
