A Birthday Stay Near Puerto Montt’s Waterfront

Courtyard By Marriott Puerto Montt

Traveling with our two young kids for a birthday celebration, Courtyard by Marriott Puerto Montt made things wonderfully easy. The location on Avenida Seminario was ideal: we could walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and city center, while day trips toward Puerto Varas, Frutillar, and the lake district started conveniently nearby. The staff were genuinely warm. At breakfast, Camila brought our children extra fruit and remembered my daughter’s birthday, even adding a little candle to her pancake. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable after sightseeing. Great base.

After a brilliant family trip, Hotel Torremolinos felt like a cozy landing spot in Puerto Montt. Our room looked straight toward the water and snowy hills—perfect with morning coffee. Everything was spotless, from the crisp sheets to the tiny lemon-scented bathroom. The bed was seriously comfy, and quiet low-season nights meant we slept like champions.

After a long first international trip with our kids, Apart Hotel Colon felt like a welcome reset. Our room was spotless, with crisp sheets, plenty of space for suitcases, and a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed. The bathroom had strong water pressure and fresh towels every day. We also loved the small pool; it was clean and warm enough for the children, with poolside chairs where we could relax after exploring Puerto Montt. The shared lounge had big windows, soft armchairs, and a coffee station; one evening we played cards there while the kids watched the rain outside.
