Warm Salvador hospitality, memorable breakfasts, and an easygoing weekend by Pituba

Reviews

Pituba Praiamar Hotel

After a happy weekend in Salvador, my husband and I left Pituba Praiamar Hotel feeling genuinely grateful. Breakfast was the highlight: fresh papaya, warm pão de queijo, eggs made to order, and excellent coffee, with a small tapioca station that changed fillings each morning. We also enjoyed a simple but tasty seafood dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening. The staff were wonderfully kind; when I mentioned my sore knee, Lucas quietly found us a table near the lift and brought extra cushions. Our room was comfortable, and the location on Rua Sergipe made getting around easy. We'd gladly return.

A Quiet Honeymoon Base With Exceptionally Kind, Helpful Staff

Reviews

Hotel Dom Passos

After a lively few days exploring Salvador, Hotel Dom Passos felt like the perfect quiet reset for our honeymoon weekend. Our room was remarkably peaceful at night—no street noise, just the gentle hum of the air conditioner—and we slept wonderfully. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive; when we mentioned an early tour, the receptionist quietly arranged coffee and fresh fruit for us before sunrise. Everyone greeted us by name and happily shared local tips without being pushy. The location on Av. Joana Angelica made getting around easy, while the calm atmosphere gave us a lovely place to unwind.

A birthday getaway with poolside calm and genuinely caring staff

Reviews

Porto Da Lua

We stayed at Porto da Lua for a birthday getaway and loved how easygoing it felt. The pool was spotless, with shady loungers and a little corner where we could relax after the beach. Staff were genuinely warm—Marina even surprised us with sliced mango and a handwritten birthday note at breakfast. The shared lounge areas made evenings pleasantly unhurried.

Fast service, fresh breakfast, and a delicious moqueca in Itacaré

Reviews

Pousada Maria Farinha (Itacaré)

I stayed at Pousada Maria Farinha for a weekend after a business trip and had a great time. Check-in took barely five minutes, and check-out was just as quick, which was perfect before my flight. Breakfast was served early and included warm tapioca, fresh papaya, scrambled eggs, and excellent coffee. I also ordered the fish moqueca one evening; it arrived bubbling in a small clay pot and tasted wonderfully fresh. The staff were relaxed and helpful, and the pousada made a busy trip feel like a real getaway.

Quiet nights and generous breakfasts made our stay memorable

Reviews

Pituba Praia Mar Hotel

After several busy days exploring Salvador, Pituba Praia Mar Hotel gave our group a wonderfully quiet place to recharge. Our room faced away from the street, and we barely heard anything at night—even on the weekend. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh tapioca made to order, warm cheese bread, tropical fruit, and strong Brazilian coffee. We also enjoyed the simple seafood dishes at dinner, especially the grilled fish with coconut rice. It felt relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming throughout our tour.

A Peaceful Salvador Base, Close to Pelourinho and Full of Charm

Reviews

Pousada Bougainville

After our first international trip as a family, Pousada Bougainville felt like a quiet little hideaway in Salvador. Our room was wonderfully still at night—no street noise, just birds around breakfast—and the small courtyard was perfect for unwinding. We could walk to Pelourinho and nearby cafés, while the waterfront was an easy short ride away. The friendly staff made everything feel effortless.
