The location on R Franca Filho is genuinely convenient: we walked to the Manaíra beachfront in about seven minutes, reached Tambaú’s craft market without needing a taxi, and found plenty of casual restaurants nearby. A small bakery on the corner became our morning stop for warm pão de queijo and coffee. Melhores Flats

Melhores Flats was a great base for our anniversary trip. We walked everywhere: the waterfront, cafés, little shops, and dinner spots were all pleasantly close, so we barely used taxis. Our room had a lovely view over the neighborhood toward the sea; at sunrise, we could even spot the lighthouse glow between the buildings. The kitchenette was handy for late-night snacks, and the flat felt quiet after busy days. Practical, central, and perfect for exploring João Pessoa on foot.

After several busy days on our Tangol tour, A Oca Hostel Bar felt like a cheerful reset. Our room had a lovely view over João Pessoa’s rooftops, with palms and a slice of blue sky that looked especially pretty at sunrise. Check-in took barely five minutes; the receptionist already had our names and handed over the keys after a quick passport check. Check-out was just as smooth—under two minutes, with no surprise charges. At 120 Av. Cajazeiras, it was an easy, relaxed stop we’d happily choose again.
