Pousada Suarez

Traveling with two little kids in the low season, we found Pousada Suarez a great-value base in Penedo. Our room was simple but spotless, with a warm shower and a small balcony overlooking the trees. It’s on Av. das Três Cachoeiras, so Cachoeira de Deus was just a short drive away, and downtown Penedo took about ten minutes by car. The homemade breakfast, especially the cheese bread, made the reasonable rate feel even better. We left very happy.

Our first international trip, and HOTEL TITANIC made a lovely home base in Penedo. We paid a surprisingly reasonable rate for a clean, comfortable room with a balcony view of the green hills; each morning, we watched mist lift behind the rooftops while sipping the coffee we brought upstairs. My teenage daughter especially loved spotting tiny birds from the window. The room wasn’t fancy and the Wi-Fi had a dramatic personality at night, but for the price, space, location, and view felt like a win. We left happy, rested, and already joking about returning.
