We will start our day leaving from our selected hotels to the Tourist Port of Ushuaia, where our navigation will begin. We will depart towards the center of the Beagle Channel, enjoying the view of the coast as we move away. We can see from the water the Maritime Museum (which was previously a prison) the Museum of the End of the World and the Olivia and Cinco Hermanos mountains.
We will sail first to Los Lobos island where we will enjoy watching the sea lions in their natural habitat. We will continue to Los Pájaros island, where we will be able to see the beautiful Magellanic and Imperial Cormorants.
We will continue our navigation to the Lighthouse and the Les Eclaireurs archipelago. Among these islets, it is possible to see parts of Monte Cervantes, a ship that was shipwrecked in 1930.
We will cross the Beagle Channel, while we can see Gable Island and the Puerto Williams Naval Base, located in the Republic of Chile. Then we will approach the Martillo Island and stay near the beach to observe a colony of Magellanic Penguins that inhabit this place. Here we will see how the penguins approach towards the catamaran with curiosity, swimming below it and going out again. It will be a very fun sighting and full of surprises that will leave us many photos and countless memories.
Finally we will arrive at Estancia Harberton, first Fuegian ranch. This beautiful ranch has a building brought from England! The Bridge family lived here, after the closure of the Anglican Mission in Ushuaia. We will take a tour of the place that includes the Nature Reserve, the Bridge family cemetery, the Shearing House and the housing facilities.
After the tour we will be returning by land to the local port of Ushuaia, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM to go to our selected hotels.
