Quiet Poolside Evenings at Isla Bella

After a busy business trip, Isla Bella was the peaceful anniversary escape we needed. At Jose Maria Gomez 618, the pool area felt wonderfully quiet; we often had it to ourselves, with warm water and cushioned loungers beside the window garden. In the shared lounge, a small fireplace and shelves of travel books made slow evenings easy. I especially appreciated the soft no-noise policy after 10 p.m.—only the occasional wind outside. It was a lovely base for exploring Ushuaia and unwinding together.

After a brilliant anniversary trip around Ushuaia, Ms Hotel Campos 26 felt like a smart deal. Our room was simple but spotless, and the price included a surprisingly nice heated pool. We loved the small lounge area with wool throws and a kettle for afternoon tea; it was quiet after hiking. Great location on Gobernador Campos, friendly service, and solid value overall.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Hotel Los Yámanas and had such a lovely stay. Breakfast was a real highlight: warm croissants, fresh fruit, eggs made to order, and excellent coffee, while dinner featured a delicious lamb stew. The setting on Costa de los Yámanas felt peaceful, yet the Beagle Channel, downtown Ushuaia, and Tierra del Fuego routes were all easy to reach by taxi.
