We leave from the hotel at about 8 AM to take the RN 68 through small towns and large tobacco plantations, one of the most important crops of Salta, until we reach the provincial route 33. Here we will change our course to the west and begin the adventure: with slow ascent we will cross the local jungle known as yungas, which in a few kilometres will turn into mountains of colors. We will arrive at Maray, where we will have a stop in our tour.
After stretching our legs we continue along the ascent of the bishop`s hill and reach its highest point, La Piedra del Molino (3345 masl) with spectacular views. At this point we will prepare the bicycles and start biking downhill and enjoy the landscape as well as the wind in the face, crossing the Pampa straight line (old Inca road), also having the possibility of observing groups of guanacos.
After biking we will cross through the small village of Payogasta, a place that will welcome us to the Calchaquíes Valleys, and only 10 km away we will arrive at the wonderful town of Cachi (2200 Meters above sea level) famous for its colonial legacy, streets cobbled and the cordiality of its people. Here we will stop for lunch and finish our biking.
