Depending on the selected option, we will pick you up from your hotel in the center of El Calafate at 7:00 am or 11:30 am, and we will depart by bus to the port of Punta Bandera, located approximately one hour from the city.
From here, we will board the boat and start sailing on the cruise to observe the glaciers of Lake Argentino.
Our catamaran will visit the main points of interest of the North Arm of the lake. First, we will cross the Boca del Diablo to arrive at our first stop: the Upsala Glacier. We will sail through the icebergs that emerge from the glacier and the captain will stop the boat to observe the imposing blue walls of the Upsala. With an area of 870 square kilometers, it is the third largest glacier in the Southern Hemisphere.
We will continue sailing until our next stop, the Spegazzini Glacier. What stands out to this great mass of rock and ice are its walls that define it as the highest glacier in the National Park since they reach 135 meters in height.
During the journey we will also observe the Seco, Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers and, after 5 hours of navigation, we will return to the port of Punta Bandera.
Once at the pier, we will take the bus that will arrive back to El Calafate, arriving at 3 pm or 8 pm, depending on the option selected.
