08:30 am | We’ll pick you up at your place in Buenos Aires and take you to San Antonio de Areco, home of gaucho traditions.
10 am | You will be welcomed, in San Antonio de Areco, by your guide, who will take you on a tour to discover the picturesque streets of the historic center. You’ll discover the San Antonio de Padua church, ancient pulperías, century-old gaucho bars, the renowned Draghi silversmith’s museum and local craftsmen’s workshops of the town.
1 pm | You will have a well-deserved traditional lunch in town.
After lunch, your guide will invite you on a short walk to discover the Old Bridge (emblem of San Antonio de Areco), the Areco River and the famous Gauchesco Ricardo Güiraldes museum.
4 pm | We’ll take you to the Estancia, show you around and help you settle into your accommodation. Your time at the estancia also includes dinner and an overnight stay.
You’ll have breakfast then enjoy a leisurely morning at the Estancia to do what you like. If you wish, the Estancia’s gauchos will accompany you on a scenic horseback or carriage ride through fields and herds of cows.
1 pm | For lunch, you’ll enjoy a delicious asado, under the shade of ancient trees.
After lunch, you’ll have the chance to watch an impressive equestrian demonstration performed by Argentine cowboys, and if you feel like it, you’ll also be welcome to join in the traditional dances accompanied by guitarreada.
You’ll then have the rest of the afternoon to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
4:30 pm | Leave for Buenos Aires with our driver.
