We will pick you up at your lodging at
9 am and then drive towards Cerro Catedral, which is 20 km (12, 5 mi)
from the centre of our beloved city of Bariloche.
On our way we will cross by several
streams while enjoying a privileged view of Lago Gutierrez.
Afterwards, we enter the Valle Van Titter where we cross the
homonymous stream. Always walking uphill along the trail we reach
Refugio Piedritas, a bivouac shelter built with wood under a large
rock (it is currently out of service). From there the climb becomes
steeper until the Refugio Emilio Frey, where you will have a snack
for lunch.
Afterwards, you will start the descent
to go back to the base.
You will then be transferred back to
your hotel around 5 pm.
