We will start the tour with the pick up at your hotel at 09:00 am to go to Cerro Catedral, located 20 km from downtown Bariloche.
Once at the base of the hill, just to the side from the parking lot, we will set out on a wide and flat path that after half an hour of travel becomes a narrow path surrounded by small streams and with a privileged view of Lake Gutiérrez.
We will continue moving towards south until we reach the Van Titter Valley, we will cross the homonymous stream by a bridge and continue along a path surrounded by coigües and native flora of Patagonia. After three hours of walking we will arrive at Piedritas, a classic rest stop.
After a brief pause, we will have an hour of ascent through steeper terrain until we reach the Emilio Frey Refuge, at an altitude of 1700 meters. Once there, We will enjoy a comforting lunch and free time to rest and take pictures of the Toncek lagoon, the Frey needle of Cerro Catedral and the surroundings of the Andes Mountains.
The descent will be by the same path until reaching the base of the hill, where it will be waiting for us the vehicle that will take us back to the hotel around 5:00 pm.
