Details Day Tours

We’ll begin our Full-day Horse Riding with Barbecue tour by picking you up directly from your hotel in Bariloche from 9am, then heading over to the San Ramón ranch on Ruta 23. At around 10am we’ll arrive at Puesto La Fragua on the ranch, where we’ll be welcomed with a delicious, traditional breakfast. You’ll get to try the traditional mate, as well as tea, coffee and fruit juices.

Once we’re finished with breakfast, our professional guide will give you a quick talk on the horses as well as our personal safety and what to keep in mind during the ride. We’ll then make our way over to the stables for our morning horse ride. For the next two hours, you’ll see some of the real Patagonia, including native plants such as the condor, guanaco and animals such as the rhea bird and deer.

After our first ride, we’ll head back to the estancia for a delicious asado (traditional Argentine barbecue). Our starter will be empanadas, followed by a main course of asado (barbecued meat) and chorizo with salad. Dessert is a fruit salad, and there are plenty drinks options throughout the meal (wine, soft drinks, water etc.).

After lunch, we’ll have a bit of time to relax before we head off on our second ride, where you’ll see more of the ranch and some beautiful parts of the Patagonian estepa (outback).

When we come to the end of our second horse ride, we’ll come back to the ranch for a merienda (traditional afternoon snack) of mate, coffee, tea, juices and homemade pies.

At around 5:30pm, after a relaxing day living the gaucho life, we’ll bring our tour to a close by dropping you back at your hotel in Bariloche.
