The excursion begins with the passengers
pick up from centrally located Lima hotels around 6 pm. We will begin our adventure downtown, where we will be able to
appreciate the most representative buildings, especially lit.
We will visit relevant squares as the
San Martin square, declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 1988. In the middle of it, we will see the impressive
monument dedicated to the liberator José de San Martín.
The tour continues towards the Main Square, surrounded by important
buildings as the Government Palace,
the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s Palace, the City Hall, and important mansions.
The Plaza Mayor of Lima is the place where the city of Lima was founded
by the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro in 1535. Its current central
fountain was inaugurated during the viceroyalty era in 1651. Also here, the
Independence of Peru was proclaimed in 1821.
After the tour, we will go to a renowned
and local restaurant, located in
downtown, to enjoy an exquisite dinner
with a wonderful Peruvian show with
traditional dances.
At the end, you will be transferred
to the hotel.
