Andenblick, warmer Pool und ruhige Pausen mitten in Quito
Nach meinen Geschäftsterminen in Quito haben wir als Familie in der Nebensaison entspannte Tage im Hotel Reina Isabel verbracht. Der Blick aus unserem Zimmer im siebten Stock war mein Highlight: Morgens lagen die Dächer der Stadt im weichen Licht, und bei klarer Sicht konnte man die Anden erkennen. Besonders angenehm war der beheizte Pool; dank der ruhigen Reisezeit hatten die Kinder ihn oft fast für sich allein. In der Lounge neben dem Pool standen bequeme Sessel und eine kleine Schale mit Eukalyptuswasser. Nach Ausflügen saßen wir dort gern zusammen. Das Personal war herzlich und unaufdringlich – wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Le calme rare d’un hôtel central, sans prix excessif
Après un week-end très animé à Quito, on a vraiment apprécié le calme du Reina Isabel. La chambre de ma fille et moi donnait sur la cour intérieure : fenêtres bien isolées, aucun bruit de circulation malgré l’avenue Amazonas. Ma fille a même dormi jusqu’à neuf heures, ce qui lui arrive rarement. Le petit déjeuner était simple mais frais, avec des œufs préparés à la demande. Les serviettes épaisses et le personnel attentif ont rendu le séjour confortable. Pour le prix, l’emplacement et cette tranquillité, c’est une adresse franchement équilibrée. Je la choisirais encore pour une escapade sans stress.
