Almaoliva had its beginnings in the  year 2006, it is a company family founded by the Castello-Bertero Family and owns olive plantations in Coquimbito, 10 kilometers from the City of Mendoza.


In its farms that can be visited from Monday to Sunday, you can see that the olive trees adapted with extraordinary ease to the climate and soil, giving a fruit of excellence, being the first coratin plantation in the region.


Las olivas They are harvested by hand at the optimum moment of maturation and made the same day, so that the qualities of the fruit are expressed in their maximum potentiality.


Almaoliva has its own extraction plant with state-of-the-art Italian technology generation, Pieralisi brand. The oil is kept in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.


varieties of oil that you can find in your store are:


-Coratina: Elaborated with olives of the variety originating from Italian Puglia, it is an oil very fruity with a balanced bitter tenor with mild spicy notes at the end pleasant for those who like intense oils.


-Frantoio: Produced with olives of the Frantoio variety (originally from Italian Tuscany), it is a medium-high intensity oil, fruity with notes of herbs, delivers a slightly spicy sensation that contrasts with a pleasant almond aftertaste and sweet.


-Arbequina: Elaborated with olives of the Arbequina variety (originally from the Spanish region of Catalonia), it is a fresh and friendly oil, it has a medium fruity, aroma pleasant, with a subtle bitterness and a low itch and without persistence, recommended for those who are new to consumption and prefer mild flavors.


-Blend Intense: It results from an exquisite mixture of selected varietals, where highlight the best characteristics of each one, highlighting the notes spicy and bitter from the Coratina varietal.


-Blend Mild: It is a balanced mix of varietals, where they complement each other in a perfect the characteristics of both varieties, achieving a fruity oil smooth, with some spicy and bitter notes of the Coratina varietal.

 

Also They produce balsamic vinegar, it is worth a try! It is made   with the must of selected and matured grapes. in wooden vessels preserving the Italian style of production.

 

All products can be obtained in containers of 250ml, 500ml up to 5 liters.
