Where to eat the best spider crab

Puerto Pirata Aldea de Pescadores

If you want to try spider crab , one of the traditional dishes of Ushuaia, this is the place. The star dishes are the crab grilled with Parmesan cheese or Provençal cheese with sliced garlic and rustic potatoes.  

Puerto Pirata is characterized by its fresh seafood, of excellent quality and fresh fish. If you are interested, they invite you to the kitchen to see the entire production process and even the secrets of each dish! At the end of the meal you can try one of the desserts on the menu. The most requested is the frozen mandarin glass.

It is a gourmet grill located in front of the port with views of the coast. We recommend one of its strengths, which is the Patagonian lamb grilled or on the stake. Kalma Resto

Kalma Resto is an intimate place of signature cuisine where the quality of the food and the culinary sensitivity of the chef are present in all its dishes. An option to start your evening is the warm spider crab with mussels, prawns and bell pepper vinaigrette. 

To continue with an irresistible dish, I recommend the octopus ceviche from the Beagle Channel with lemon juice, coriander, red onions, sweet potatoes and crunchy corn. Almacen de Ramos Generales

The General Ramos Warehouse overlooks the bay and is open consecutively since 1906. It is almost as old as the mythical prison that had been inaugurated only three years before and which made the Ushuaia's population will begin to grow.
