Depois de um roteiro tão cheio pelo Rio, foi um alívio voltar ao Maroca Rio, na Rua Lacerda Coutinho, 53. O quarto era silencioso de verdade, mesmo à noite, e dormimos muito bem. Tudo estava limpinho, com lençóis cheirosos, colchão confortável e uma janela que vedava bem o barulho da rua. Também gostamos da ducha forte e do espaço para guardar as malas. Saímos descansados e agradecidos.

Me alojé varias noches durante el tour y Maroca Rio terminó siendo una base comodísima. El personal fue súper amable: me guardaron la mochila sin cobrar y hasta me marcaron en un mapa dónde tomar el tranvía. Está en Rua Lacerda Coutinho, 53, y desde ahí llegaba caminando al centro, a cafés y hacia la playa sin depender de taxis.
Quiet nights, kind staff, and a budget-friendly base for our first adventure in Rio
We stayed at Maroca Rio during our family’s first international trip, and the quiet was honestly a gift after busy days around Rio. Our room faced the back, so we barely heard anything beyond the soft click of the courtyard gate in the evening. The bed was comfortable, the shower had steady hot water, and the staff happily stored our bags before check-in. For the price, it felt far better than expected—clean, calm, and well located on Rua Lacerda Coutinho. It isn’t a flashy hotel, but it gave us restful nights and left more of our budget for exploring the city.
