Punta del Este is located on the Southeast end of Uruguay and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.  Punta del Este is divided into two parts Playa Mansa and Playa Brava.

This is one of those places where everybody wants to return. Punta del Este is more than beaches, White sands, woodlands, and clear waters; it is a place for glamour.

That is why Punta del Este is a perfect place for enjoying wine. There are a variety of tours that can be taken by tourist just to enjoy private tastings and breathtaking views of the ocean at sundown.

Jose Ignacio Experience

The tourist will go to Jose Ignacio, where it will be possible to have a private tasting while you watch an amazing sunset. There you will taste different wines while enjoying plates of artisanal cheeses and cured hams.

Punta Wine Experience

The visitors will go to a winery in Punta Ballena. There, they will have a tasting and a tour with the owner and winemaker. This winery only produces 5,000 cases of fine wine per year.

Then, they will go to a Relaix and Chateau Winery in La Barra, where it will be possible to have a tasting with one of the famous wine consultant, Michel Rolland.

This tour is focused on one or two wineries with snacks.

Sunset Wine Experience

This tour consists of a private tasting, where the wines are by Michel Rolland. It will be at a boutique winery in La Barra. This tour includes many things to eat and a lighter dinner.  In this place, you will enjoy a spectacular sunset.

These are just some tours that we recommend, but if you want to enjoy more of this marvelous world of winery you should look for more information.

Punta del Este is known as the Pearl of Uruguay and every day the city becomes in a more delightful place.
