Passed the door-to-door clothing sales to be the architect behind the gastronomic emporium Patagonian food in San Martín de los Andes.  Alfredo Bernhardt  arrived in these southern lands in 1998 and only one year later, he decided to invest all his savings to immerse himself in the world gourmet that he was so passionate about.  This is how the first El Regional store was born.


El Regional was consolidated as one of the references when it comes to eating good Trout.   The quality and abundance of its dishes is the hallmark of this restaurant that offers varieties for all tastes:  with honey and walnuts; with blue cheese cream; with pepper or orange butter and toasted almonds.

8 years ago opened this gastronomic corner located in a corner in the heart of the town of San Martín de los Andes. Torino perfectly combines the modern and more trendy with the rusticity of wood.

En the  most popular grill in San Martín de los Andes, they have their court of star meat: the chorizo steak but they are also highly recommended: the entraña, the lamb ribs, and the tenderloin.

Mamusia

Mamusia en a chocolate shop but also many other things.  It is a family business  that raises the banner of the third generation building a sweet story. A space that found no place only for chocolate in its endless forms and ingredients, but also for regional sweets, artisan candles and finally, the ice cream. 


The years and its belonging to the history of San Martín de los Andes give it identity and They are part of the community.   It is the first chocolate in the city  and begins in the kitchen of Mamusia, the grandmother of the family (arrived from Poland to San Martín de los Andes in 1972). Mamusia rises in a strategic place and architectural heritage of the city. The history of the building that today houses the chocolate shop has a long data. There used to be the old Bar Lerín, a bar for drinks and bowls that, although abandoned for years, it retained that typical facade of the first constructions of San Martín. 


Today is traditional chocolatería offers among its varied products  elaborations with the most fine raw materials that give rise to the classic chocolates filled with and without liquor, chocolates with dried fruits, nougats and chocolates in bar.  The most requested are  the filled with cream and pistachios, semi-soft tiramisu, marzipan with semi dark chocolate, cognac grapes, Swiss cream, raspberries or whiskey.
