Petrópolis is a city in Brazil located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, 68 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is known as the "imperial city" of Brazil.
Located among mountains of the Serra dos Órgãos, in the valley of the Quitandinha and Piabanha rivers, Petrópolis is a popular Brazilian holiday destination.
