Mancora is a tourist city in the Piura region, on the northwest coast of Peru. It is known for its sandy Mancora beach, whose big waves attract surfers. The Pocitas and Vichayito beaches are quieter. The main street, Avenida Piura, is full of restaurants, bars and cafes.  The thermae of La Poza de Barro and mud baths are located southeast of the city. Migratory whales visit  the coast.

In Máncora, everything revolves around the beach. The peaceful beach Pocitas is a fantastic place to lie in the sun, float in natural pools or walk along its beautiful coastline. Vichayito beach is ideal for scuba diving and kitesurfing, while the south beach is crowded with merchants, surfers and boisterous tourists. Join a guided expedition to visit the nearby waterfalls and mud baths, or go for a motorcycle or horse ride to explore the beaches and backroads.

For family trip, It is an spectacular experience to do the swim tour with turtles. It is also an opportunity to learn about local ecotourism. There can be done also the Whale watching tour on August/September. The marine observation tour worth it.  The sunset and the whale watching tours are really cool, it is such an amazing feeling to see these hugh creatures near you.
